Opportunities
Phi Sigma Theta strongly encourages all of our new members
to become involved in their communities through volunteer
work. We are particularly interested in the mentoring
and tutoring of our youth. We suggest that our members
go to www.mentoring.org
to locate an organization in your area that will provide
you with information on a variety of volunteer opportunities
including, but not limited to, mentoring opportunities.
Most of the projects do not require a great deal of time
and are very flexible. They will, however, mean a great
deal to the children involved and to you. So please, do
a child, your community, and yourself a big favor and
volunteer. |
